Keep an open mind! No matter what anyone tells you, do what works not what is supposed to work. When in doubt leave it alone. If you don’t have time to test a change before the race and you aren’t positive it will be a good change, don’t do it. To make your chassis work properly you need to balance the amount of bite in the chassis. You need a neutral chassis without too much bite and not too loose. The perfect setup is easy to drive. Everyone has different driving styles and can use different setups to find perfection. Only make one change at a time.

80% of the kart setup is the seat possition, believe me this is the most critical in a kart set up and with the most noticable effect. If you set up your kart, get a seat measurement recomendation from the chassis manufacturer and follow it. If the steering wheel and pedals are too far..... you adjust the pedals or make a good pedal extenders, if the steering wheel is too far, you can have a steering wheel spacers made in a local machine shop to move the steering wheel close to you. Never alter the seat possition. That is what we do, I do not know with other tuners.
